W Rome is casting for Seasonal Room Service Chef de Rang.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and coordinated by the Room Service Supervisor, the Room Service Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.

• The position is set to start in April 2023 until October
• 40hours per week, 5 days a week for 8hours each with 2 days off

What you’ll do

•         Represent and be the face of the hotel to all guests.
•          Focus on storytelling and W HOTELS brand identity.
•          Work with the room service team to ensure optimum service
•          Take room service orders over the phone.
•          Answer questions on menu selections and check with kitchen staff.
•          Place and log call back for room service order.
•          Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery
•          Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
•          Set tables according to type of service standards.
•          Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
•          Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
•          Update MICROS system menus as required.
•          Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
•          Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines
•          Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
